It’s no secret that the opportunities of the future are going to lie in the Asia Pacific. With Asia’s influence on Australia and the world ever increasing, are you ready to be a leader in “the Asian century”?

The Bachelor of Asian Studies is a flexible undergraduate degree that allows you to focus on your own interests depending on your career goals. The Bachelor of Asian Studies lets you study a broad range of courses, from politics, history, languages and more, but also allows you to delve deep in to a particular area of focus, where you could, for example, take multiple courses in security studies.

Your deep contextual knowledge will be complimented with language training in an Asian language, so be sure to check out our ‘Level up’ language session.

While global politics is unpredictable – the focus on Asia remains consistent and Asian specialists are in high demand. Our graduates can be found working all over the world in dynamic careers – from diplomacy to journalism, and international business to policymaking within governments and NGOs.

We also have an exciting range of overseas study opportunities, from exchanges, internships, study tours and more. Our College leads the University in international student mobility – 98% of our graduating cohort have taken a global study option, and so can you!

So come along and hear from former course convenor, Carol Hayes and new course convenor, Wayan Arka about the importance of having a deep understanding of our region and consider enrolling in the Bachelor of Asian Studies.
